We do not require an adult signature for deliveries, but please note that the decision to leave your package without a signature is at the discretion of the delivery person. If you want an item left at your doorstep, the best thing to do is leave a note on your door asking the driver to leave your package with "No Signature Required." Replaced my 30 yr. old free flow. The new is MUCH MORE COMFORTABLE! When my old mattress sprang a leak, I considered getting a "regular" mattress due to my age. I went almost 2 weeks without a waterbed before I decided for sure. I am SO GLAD that I chose to replace my waterbed mattress! The directions are the "pits"....and really need to be revised, but that shouldn't stop you!

Many waterbeds come with liner and installation kit included. This mattress did not include any hardware to inflate it or a liner. That is not satisfactory.

Great bed! It replaced an 80% waveless waterbed that cost almost twice as much 17 years ago! My dogs (55 and 65 lbs) can jump on and off and change position during the night without disturbing my sleep. I'm a side sleeper but found I can actually sleep on my stomach on this bed--imagine that! I'm arthritic and love climbing into my warm, cozy bed each night--it cuddles me while providing support.

I was sinking to the bottom of my old bed. It was an 80% waveless without lumbar support. I was looking for something that was firmer but didn't want to go with a regular mattress. So I ordered this waveless with lumbar support. Filling it was kinda strange because it really did bubble out because of all the baffling so I strongly suggest regular burping while filling because you will be like me and having to drain a lot of it out. Once I got the right amount of water in, it took a while for me to get used to since there really isn't much of any kind of wave... but over the last few weeks I have gotten used to it and it is rather nice. I would compare the way that it forms to you to a tempurpedic...except that it is nice and warm since it is a waterbed. I would recommend it.
Service and delivery comments:
Delivered very quickly... I really liked that. Brand new condition (and the cats got to play in the big box - which was an added treat). Customer service was extremely helpful in their knowledge and dealing with me when I was contemplating returning for the semi wave because I didn't magically get used to the wavelessness overnight... apparently it takes a couple of weeks to get used to a new bed.

I had high expectations for this mattress and the matress meet those expectations. I was a little disconcerned that the mattress arrived under a different name but quickly discerned that the manufacturer markets under a couple of different names due to consolidation in the industry but the mattress was of high quality. I was replacing my 20 yr old 80% matress and the support with the new mattress far exceeds the old mattress I replaced. If you find yourself in the same position I found myself, that is replacing an old mattress, consider this mattress, you will find yourself getting a big bang for your dollar.
